Members of the ALLIANCE.GLOBAL public organization took part at the “10th National LGBT Conference”, which took place in the congress-hotel “Pushcha” from October 20 to 22, 2017.
Within the framework of the side meeting “Achievements of HIV service organizations by the work with MSM” during the conducting of the X National Conference of LGBT movement and MSM service (19-22.10.2017), the Head of the outreach department and the coordinator of Support Groups for HIV positive MSM in Kyiv of the PO “ALLIANCE.GLOBAL” Tim, has made a presentation entitled “Case management and support for HIV positive MSM in Kyiv”.
Andrii from PO “Alliance.Global” has participated in a panel discussion “Monitoring observance of human rights “, where he has presented the pilot project of our organization “FAQ discrimination: about discrimination against MSM and transgender people at the medical sphere” (supported by Eurasian Coalition on Male Health – ECOM), within the framework of the 10th National Conference of LGBT movement and MSM service (19-22.10.2017).
Andrii has presented the work and achievements of the PO “Alliance.Global” on the project “Social mobilization and local advocacy of key communities people who use injecting drugs, sex workers, MSM and former prisoners in 5 regions of Ukraine” at the section organized by the Network of PLHIV (Мережа ЛЖВ) in the framework of holding the 10th National Conference of LGBT movement and MSM service (19-22.10.2017), a moderator was Petro.
On the last day the work of the 10th National Conference of the LGBTI movement and MSM service (19-22.10.2017), within the framework of the section “HIV service and PLHIV movement: health”, Andrii from PO Alliance.Global” has presented two innovations programs that are implementing or will be implemented by our organization, namely:
1). “PrEP implementation among MSM in Kyiv” (the first pilot project in Ukraine for 100 MSM starts in November 2017 supported the Alliance for Public Health).
2). “Chemsex: realities and challenges” (presentation of received preliminary data from a study, conducted among MSM who use drugs, supported by AFEW International).
