In Kiev, Shelter is created for gays, bisexuals and other men who have sex with men, as well as transgender people who find themselves in a difficult life situation.
You can apply for a Shelter residence all year long. Depending on the circumstances, you can stay in Shelter for 1 to 3 months.
Who is this program for?
MSM and TG victims of harassment and discrimination based on SOGI (sexual orientation and / or gender identity) may find themselves in a difficult life situation:
– Persecuted by relatives, authorities, or third parties through sexual orientation and / or gender identity;
– They lack housing and livelihoods and are deprived of the opportunity to work because of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
