Creating Without Fear – Being Yourself. Being Close

On June 27, the new community centre of the PO “ALLIANCE.GLOBAL” in Kyiv hosted the event “Creating without fear – being yourself. Being close” with the famous Ukrainian producer Volodymyr Zavadiuk.

On Friday, June 27, we held a sincere and very frank conversation for Pride Month “Creating without fear – being yourself. Being close. Leadership, identity, allies and authenticity in the creative sphere”.

This time, our guest of honor was Volodymyr Zavadiuk – a Ukrainian producer, head of the BIG BRAVE EVENTS department at “1+1 media”, the author of the idea of ​​large-scale television projects and cultural events, an artist, LGBTQ+ activist, a big fan of Ukrainian culture. And also – a volunteer who sincerely shares his experience, voice and time for the sake of the community to which he belongs.

The meeting was built in the format of “questions – answers”. We talked about the courage to be open, about visibility, about the power of culture and the role of allies in creating a safe environment.

We are infinitely grateful to Volodymyr for his openness, depth and warmth. This was not just a discussion – it was a space of support, inspiration and real strength. Soon we will share an interview with Volodymyr, which will be built on the basis of questions and answers from the meeting – about the path in the profession, about leadership through authenticity and what it means to be an open representative of LGBTIQ+ communities in the Ukrainian creative industry.
