Google AI Essentials in Ukrainian: ALLIANCE.GLOBAL Makes AI Accessible

20.08.2025

ALLIANCE.GLOBAL is launching free Google AI Essentials courses in Ukrainian specifically for the LGBTIQ+ community. 200 places available, comprehensive support from equipment to psychological assistance, training from March 2025 through June 2026. A unique opportunity to master the most sought-after skills of our time and enhance competitiveness in the job market.

Whilst some are fretting that artificial intelligence will pinch their jobs, others are already using it for career advancement. In Ukraine, people from the LGBTIQ+ community often have to overcome additional barriers in the labour market. Now they’ve got a chance to master one of the most sought-after skills of our time—working with artificial intelligence.

ALLIANCE.GLOBAL, together with Centre for Public Impact Europe, is launching a unique educational programme: free Google AI Essentials courses in Ukrainian. This isn’t just another general course “for everyone”—it’s a specially designed programme for LGBTIQ+ people that takes into account the real needs of the community.

Why now and why for us

Research shows that artificial intelligence skills already boost salaries by 25-40% today. By 2030, they’ll become fundamental for most professions. Meanwhile, LGBTIQ+ people in Ukraine face employment discrimination more often than others. AI skills could become that competitive tool which helps overcome these barriers.

The Google AI Essentials course is an official programme from the global tech giant, adapted for Ukrainian realities. Participants will learn to use ChatGPT, Gemini, and other AI tools for automating work tasks, creating content, analysing data, and solving complex problems.

What makes this programme special

Unlike standard online courses, ALLIANCE.GLOBAL has created a comprehensive support system:

Technical provision: 30 laptops for learning, free internet and SIM cards for those who need them, based at our local centres.

Psychological support: access to LGBTIQ+-friendly psychologists and therapists during the course.

Accommodation and transport: travel compensation to the nearest community centres in 6 regions of Ukraine.

How it works

Training will run from March 2025 through June 2026. Every two months, a new cohort of 25 participants begins. The format is entirely online, allowing people to learn from anywhere in Ukraine.

The programme includes:

  • Fundamentals of artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Practical work with Google AI tools
  • Creating your own AI projects
  • Ethics and responsible AI use
  • Applying AI in various professional spheres

Previous technical experience isn’t required. You just need the motivation to change your life.

From experience to expertise

ALLIANCE.GLOBAL has been working with the LGBTIQ+ community for over 20 years. The organisation knows what challenges our people face and understands what support is needed for successful learning. This isn’t their first educational project—the team has already delivered dozens of professional development programmes.

The partnership with Centre for Public Impact Europe and support from Google.org AI Opportunity Fund guarantee high-quality training and international recognition of certificates.

The future starts today

Artificial intelligence is changing the world right now. You can become part of these changes or be left behind. For LGBTIQ+ people, this is particularly important—AI skills provide the freedom to work remotely, create your own business, and be less dependent on prejudiced employers.

In a year’s time, you’ll be able to confidently use AI for creating presentations, analysing data, and writing texts. You’ll become competitive in the job market, have a stable income, and feel confident about the future.

Registration for the first cohorts is already open. Places are limited—just 200 across the whole of Ukraine.
