Project in partnership with the Public Health Center of Ukraine (PHC)

The project is implemented by NGO “ALLIANCE.GLOBAL” in partnership with the Public Health Center of Ukraine and is aimed at expanding access to HIV testing services for key populations, particularly MSM. The initiative is part of nationwide efforts to promote early HIV detection and ensure timely access to medical care.
Since 2021, NGO “ALLIANCE.GLOBAL” has been implementing the project to improve access to HIV testing services for representatives of key populations, particularly men who have sex with men (MSM). Through a combination of online outreach, offline consultations, and client navigation, the project supports early HIV detection and timely linkage to care.
Within the project framework, two testing sites operate in Kyiv and one in Dnipro. All sites are fully equipped and function in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the provision of assisted testing services.
In Kyiv, the project is implemented under a subcontract with “100% Life. Kyiv region”, while in Dnipro it is carried out directly with the Public Health Center. Social workers engage clients through platforms popular among MSM — dating apps (Hornet, Grindr), Instagram, and both public and private Telegram channels. Potential clients receive invitations and encouragement to use the testing services.
