NGO “Gay-Alliance” supported by SOLIDARITE SIDA from January 2016 starts providing groups for HIV-positive gay and bisexual men «UAGuys+».

Groups focused on people who live with HIV and those who have recently received HIV-positive status, and based on the principle “peer-to-peer” (all members of the group including facilitator are HIV+).

The main slogan of «UAGuys+» is «HIV: life goes on!”

The reasons to be a part of this group?

Participation in the group will give you:

– Necessary moral support;

– Communication with people who are facing the same problems;

– Possibility to discuss partnership problems;

– Ability of being prepared for possible consequences/risks of disclosure of your HIV status;

– Knowledge about antiretroviral therapy and adherence to it;

– Information about your health and how to protect your partner;

– New friends;

– If necessary, individual psychologist counseling;

– Well spent time.

The main advantage of participation in this groups is comfort and freedom to choose meeting place (participants together discuss and choose the place of the next meeting). Groups are held every Saturday at 2pm.

The dynamics and process of group will be supervised by psychologist of the organization.
