The campaign also held in all regional centers of Ukraine and Kyiv region.

During the event by medical personnel of “Gay-alliance” and partner NGOs was conducted rapid testing all interested for hepatitis C, hepatitis B, HIV and syphilis; professional doctors have provided consultations concerning the treatment and diagnosis to all who has received positive test result for viral hepatitis, as well those who have long know the diagnosis; social workers and volunteers of NGOs informed the public about dangers of viral hepatitis infection, have distributed informational materials and invited to undergo of rapid testing.

On the results of rapid diagnosis the Alliance for Public Health will issue later a post release, but we can already reliably say that was fixed a lot of newly diagnosed a positive results for hepatitis C, which shows that HCV epidemic in Ukraine grows and spreads. Despite the all this, we have very limited access to treatment and laboratory diagnosis for hepatitis.

Also during Action held a press briefing for the media on occasion the annual all-Ukrainian action to the World Hepatitis Day in which the representatives of the World Health Organization in Ukraine and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, doctors infectiologists and representatives of international organizations, participants of military operations on the east Ukraine, people who are successfully have been treated for hepatitis C and those who are still waiting for its chance at a healthy life, so that provide answers to the most painful questions:

• How and where in Ukraine the people who living with hepatitis C can receive effective treatment by drugs of direct antiviral effect which have already been used successfully in the world?

• Do efficiently being spent state and regional funds if has availability of new procurement system of drugs for the treatment of hepatitis C? Why still are purchasing drugs for old schemes of treatment?

• How many “lucky people” in this year won the “deadly lototrones” and will receive treatment by direct antiviral action from the state budget?
